Why is it that we are pushing our goal-oriented society into the middle school years? Why are we all so obsessed with having our lives figured out as soon as possible? I really don't know. I tried to get everything done as quickly as I could. Graduating college in three years, becoming a teacher, getting married at 21, having a baby and buying a house before most of my friends could find a job. Am I the one to put pressure on you, or am I just a result of the pressure that was put upon me? I don’t think that pressure is all bad, but I think you have a point that you might want to explore more thoroughly.
